Version 4.1.3 (II 1.0.3)
I've decided to release this version now so that it can get some testing in. Within the week, I'll release ver 4.1 that will include the mass import option.
But ... there's too much good stuff here to wait and I need help making sure I haven't overlooked anything major (or minor). So, consider this a semi-beta but don't be afraid to test it out. This version is currently running at SZO. Ron1n and I decided to post this in a separate thread because it has so many changes from ecDownloads 3.3.
Install Instructions for ecDownloads (ver 4.0)
Upload the contents of 'upload' to your forum directory
Install the ecDownloads Product
Import product-ecdownloads.xml into your PRODUCTS by going to Plugin System -> Manage Products -> Add/Import Product
IF YOU ARE UPGRADING, be sure to set "Allow Overwrite" to "Yes"
(not necessary for upgrades) Create a directory called 'downloads'
(or whatever you put in your settings) and make it writeable and executable
If you are upgrading and have modified your templates, I highly recommend reverting ALL templates. The changes I've made are extensive.
Also, be sure to give your admin usergroup permissions to "Can Edit All Files". Then, go to downloads.php and click on "Manage Files". This will update your "tops" items.
