Simple reason.. The author of vBSEO is a jerk.. He is a member in all the warez forums and release sites...
When he noticed his work is nulled he PM'ed anyone posting the script saying he'll give them a licensed one if the links are get deletd...
As far as i know everybody accepted the offer for some reasons even shAd of DGT..

So that's it..

I agree.

Imagine that kier came here and said "Okay, i will give you a free vbulletin license if you dont post anymore vbulletin nulls". Well, thats what taking vbseo free is like. I dont agree with making deals. Melonez also took the deal, lol.
